Orange County Convention Center Dining Lounge

This project involved the renovation of a pre-existing food court in the West Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center. The transformation features a modern, inviting dining lounge that displays echoes of the convention center’s brand through a variety of colors and textures that allows the guests to have an elevated experience. The renovation included new finishes for the floors and walls, updated lighting, and furniture and seating configurations that will help improve the flow of foot traffic in one of the convention center’s most popular dining destinations.

The new-look provides a strong visual presence at Hall C. The dining spaces were designed to be more intimate while providing more flexibility for users with a variety of furniture pieces and seating arrangements. The new configuration offers increased seating capacity and improved functionality from an operational standpoint. Programmatic elements included the addition of two fully-equipped coffee stations with food serving areas, beverage and condiment stations, and a wide array of dining areas.
