Florida's Turnpike Turkey Lake Headquarters

We designed the four-building complex located at the Turkey Lake Service Plaza along the Florida Turnpike in Orange County. The project includes a District Headquarters building that houses turnpike administrative offices as well as an auditorium and employee lounge.

Two nearly identical 22,000 GSF buildings house Operations and Law Enforcement and share a hardscaped courtyard. The Operations building includes a state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center and Intelligent Traffic Systems Operation Center. One primary difference between the two spaces is a full fitness center that's housed only in the Law Enforcement building. The 6,000 GSF single-story Trades and Maintenance building houses shops for electrical, plumbing, and carpentry trades.
