Orlando Events Center

C.T. Hsu + Associates is the associate architect in charge of the exterior for the new Orlando Events Center, one of three state-of-the-art community venues that together represent the largest public building project in Central Florida history. The new 750,000 SF events center will replace the existing Amway Arena and include approximately 18,500 seats and at least 40 suites as well as restaurants, concessions, locker rooms, dressing rooms, ticket facilities and retail spaces. The firm’s design for the building’s exterior will use a modern blend of glass and metal materials, and feature a 20,000 SF glass entrance facing Church Street; a 10,000 SF outdoor balcony and a massive LED façade with ever-changing graphics. The design architect for the events center is HOK Sport.
