C.T. Hsu + Associates was hired by The Pizzuti Companies as the architect to prepare a master plan for The Firehouse mixed use project in downtown Orlando. The facility was planned to house the City of Orlando’s Firehouse #1 and office space for future businesses. The planned project was to consist of an 11-story building with approximately 220,000 square feet to be located on West Central Boulevard in the Central Business District. The City of Orlando’s Firehouse #1 was to be relocated to this site with the fire station occupying the ground floor and the Orlando Fire Department offices, living quarters, and administrative uses occupying the second and third floors. The remaining floors of the building were to consist of loft style office spaces.
