OSCEOLA COUNTY BREAKS GROUND ON NEW FIRE STATION 64 PROJECT

ORLANDO, FL (February 17, 2016) – C.T. Hsu + Associates’ (CTH+A) C.T. Hsu, FAIA, LEED AP joined Osceola County staff for a ground breaking ceremony on Monday, February 15, 2016 celebrating the start of the construction phase for the new Fire Station 64 project, designed by C.T. Hsu + Associates.    

The new 12,388 SF fire station facility is designed as prototype station that will be used in other locations in the County.  The facility includes four apparatus bays with maintenance and support area, crew quarters, physical agility and multipurpose space, and administrative offices. The goal of the prototype design is to incorporate economical, flexible, and durable materials that are easy to maintain within a 24/7 facility. Fire Station 64 will be located at 3385 Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee, Florida.  The estimated construction budget for this project is $4.4 million, and the project should be complete in October 2016.
