C.T. HSU + ASSOCIATES ANNOUNCES THAT CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN ON DR. PHILLIPS HIGH SCHOOL
ORLANDO, Fla. (November 27, 2012) – C.T. Hsu + Associates (CTH+A) announced today that construction has begun on the Dr. Phillips High School campus renovation and expansion project for Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) located in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando.
CTH+A recently completed design services for OCPS to include a new 2-story classroom building and a new visual and performing arts addition to the existing theater building, that incorporates a black box theater and labs for dance, graphic arts, digital recording studios, and music. The renovated campus will have a new community image with renovations to the administration and gym buildings, as well as enhancements to the onsite vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns that will provide a safer campus experience.
The contractor for the project is James A. Cummings, Inc. Construction will be completed in phases, and the project is anticipated to be complete in 2015.
