BUTLER ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF THE NON-PROFIT CENTRAL FLORIDA BUILDERS EXCHANGE
ORLANDO, Fla. (December 12, 2007) – C.T. Hsu + Associates today announced that Nathan Butler, AIA, an associate principal with the firm, has been elected chairman of the board for the Central Florida Builders Exchange (CFBE).
Butler is accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council’s “Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design” (LEED) program. He is the project architect for the $180 million expansion of Airsides 1 and 3 at Orlando International Airport and the $11.3 million Valencia Community College Criminal Justice Institute, which earned a design excellence award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Orlando Chapter. In addition to his leadership involvement in the CFBE, Butler is a past president of the AIA Orlando Chapter and serves on the board of the statewide AIA Florida Association.
Founded in 1944, the Central Florida Builders Exchange is a member-owned, non-profit association whose purpose is to provide quality information, access to plans, specifications and services that enhance and promote the local commercial construction industry. Membership is comprised of design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturer's representatives and specialty companies connected with the construction industry. CTH+A has been a member of the CFBE since 1987.
