FIRM COMPLETES SADLER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Comprehensive Needs Project Doubles the Size of the South Orange County School
ORLANDO, Fla. (November 29, 2007) – C.T. Hsu + Associates announced today that it has completed the renovation and expansion of 40-year-old Sadler Elementary School in Orange County, Fla. The school was rededicated on November 29.
The $17.9 million project included adding 47,036 square feet of new space and renovating 48,730-square-feet of existing space on the 15-acre campus. The project included a new administration building, new self-contained Kindergarten classroom building, a combined classroom and media center and an addition to the existing pre-Kindergarten building.
The master plan also included design solutions for the severely congested traffic situation at the school’s entrance on Oak Ridge Road as well as bringing the school up to Orange County’s prototype school standards, design guidelines and current Building Code and Fire Code compliance.
